Cherry Creek Cottage is nestled inside the Commercial Hotel, which was built in 1894 for the Railroad. We relocated to Elizabeth, IL, from Galena, IL, in 1995. In addition to our historic architecture, we offer many rooms filled with unique gifts and collectibles. Relax and take time out for a charming and delightful experience of our small hometown charm. Cherry Creek Cottage carries a number of kitchenware lines for baking, cooking and serving. You will find many pieces of Enamelware and Fiesta dinnerware in all your favorite colors and patterns. Some of the colors we carry are red, green, blue, yellow, light blue, light green, persimmon, periwinkle blue, sea mist green, rose, sunflower, cinnabar, plum, and turquoise. Various patterns include woodland designs such as bears, moose, and horses. We also have a selection of cotton dishtowels and appliance covers to match your kitchen décor. For all of our fruit lovers we carry Cherry and Lemon Pottery. For a unique touch in decorating your home, we carry a variety of locally hand made fake foods. Our fake food line includes bakery items, soda fountain treats, cookies and much, much more. Some of our customers’ favorite kitchen patterns are Chickens, Hens and Roosters of which you will find we carry many styles.

We carry two lines of skin care and body products. Baudelaire is a fine line of imported bath soaps, lotions, hand creams, and body care product for both men and women. Fragrances by Baudelaire include, Linden, Sweet Almond, Wild Rose, Honeysuckle, Apricot, Bergamot, Wilderness, Lavender, Vervain, Vetiver, Alpine Milk, Gardeners, Honey, Propolis, Royal Jelly and Jardine de l' OLIVER.

Meredith Baxter, now known as Caren et Cie, is a line of bath and shower gels, hand and body lotions. These skin care products work to moisturize and condition your skin with out being greasy, oily or sticky. The fragrances are lightly scented French Vanilla, Caren, Stardust, Cucumber, and Interlude. Caren et Cie sends a portion of their profits to Breast Cancer Research.

We also carry an extensive selection of collectible lines, which includes The Boyds Collection, Harmony Kingdom, Hudson Pewter Collection, Jacqueline Kent Dolls, Lefton Colonial Village, Lang & Wise, Big Sky Bearfoots and Carvings, Zingleberries, Santa, Snowmen, and LTD Wildlife Relief Sculptures. For your home décor, we have several useful and decorative items such as blankets, pillows, baskets, candles, magnets, and notepads just to mention a few.
